Hello everyone!
So I feel like this post will be super useful to everyone because I think its something we all struggle with (including me), is to keep your bedroom clean and organised. Over the years I think I have gathered some really valuable ways that will actually help you to not only clean and organise your room, but to maintain that.
Hope you enjoy!

Keeping it Clean
First, you need to clean your room. And I mean CLEAN it. Don't just shove everything under your bed and in your wardrobe, you need to find a day where you can sit down and really take your time to go through all your stuff and find all the weird stuff you have been hoarding. Do a huge clean out, and try not to let emotions get the better of you. If you find some old shoes that don't fit any more, throw them out. Even if you are emotional attached to those shoes, be stronger that your emotions. All they are doing is adding to a messy wardrobe and serve no purpose.
The most beneficial thing about doing a huge clean out is that suddenly you find yourself with all this extra space! And space is a very valuable thing, brining me to my first tip.
1. Hang things on your walls and door to save space
Things like hats and bags can be easily hung up on your walls using command hooks. Not only does it save space, but looks cute too.
Keeping it organised
Keeping your room organised might seem tough but its really not. I've put together a few efficient ways that help to organise all your stuff and keep it from cluttering your room.
1. Use baskets to store clothes or shoes.
I think wardrobes are the most abused when it comes to keeping it tidy and organised. Its just so easy to throw stuff in there and not see it, so naturally we are obliged to do that. That is when the baskets come in. So simple yet so effective. You can use baskets to store anything you want, clothes, shoes, belts, scarves and gloves - anything. It just helps to keep it all in sections where you don't have to go digging around for hours trying to find a particular item or pair of shoes.
2. Organising your desk
Again, desks can be abused when it comes to organising. If its a draw and you can put stuff in it without it being seen, anything goes in there and it will be forgotten. Take everything out, yes everything and sort through all of it. Old school stuff? Throw it away. Only keep the stuff you know your really going to use or anything that is memorable to you.
Now comes the organising part of it. If you don't have a desk with draws, try to use boxes or baskets underneath to store your stuff. The trick is to have a 'theme' for each draw.
For ex.
Draw 1 - Knicks n knacks
Draw 2 - Pictures
Draw 3 - School folders and books
And so on and so on. This will really help you to keep organised and know where to find a particular book or picture.
3. Storage boxes
You know how you have all that random stuff from when you were a little kid that your mum forced you to keep. Like medals, certificates, weird animals made from toilet paper rolls. And you don't know where to put them? In a storage box at the top of your wardrobe. Keeps them out of the way from cluttering your room, and keeps your mum happy too :)
Keeping it Clean
Now comes the tricky part. KEEPING it clean and organised. It can be difficult but it doesn't have to be. These are some of the best ways that work for me and hopefully work for you too.
1. Keep your clothes off the floor. This is going to be hard for a lot of people, but trust me, as soon as one clothing item is on the floor, the pile builds and builds and builds until its just a mountain of now dirty, wrinkly clothes. Just take that extra 5 seconds to put it back away in the wardrobe to prevent a growing pile.
2. Make your bed in the morning. Yes its annoying, but it makes a huge difference
3. Do a general clean regularly. Vacuuming your floor can suddenly make your room look like its out of a magazine I swear. Just wipe down your windows, shake out your bed cover and clear your desk every week or so, and your room is going to stay clean for longer.

Airplane Essentials!
Hello everybody!
Sorry I have been gone a while, I went on holidays at the end of the summer break and haven't really gotten around to doing a blog post since. I came up with a few ideas though, so more blog posts will be going up soon.
Today I am sharing with you 8 airplane essentials which basically I could not live without on plane rides. Most of them are pretty self - explanatory and hopefully if any of you are going travelling soon it might help the plane trip be a bit better!
Hope you enjoy!
Xo - Charli
1. Book
Reading is one of my favourite hobbies, and one of my favourite things to do on an airplane trip is to plug in my earphones, listen to some chill music and burry my head in a book. It removes you from all the distractions and time flies so much faster I swear!
2. Journal/Diary
I think its so so important to have some form of diary or journal with you on an airplane. Again, self - explanatory but it can be really useful at times. You can write down anything that is on your mind, organise, write poems (my favourite) etc.
3. Mints, Gum and snacks
Do I even need to explain? Probably not. Sometimes airplane food isn't very pleasant so having snacks to control your hunger is a must. And who doesn't want gum?
PS. The sour watermelon mints from the cotton on foundation are the besstttt
4. Colouring book
This one might not be for everybody but this is seriously my favourite thing ever! Endorse yourself in some chill music and colour away. It helps to relieve stress and is calming and satisfying to take your time, colour everything perfectly and mix and match different colours together!
5. Essentials Bag
As implied in the title, this one is an absolute MUST for me. Keep all your essentials in one bag and that way they are there whenever you need them. You can put whatever is important to you into your essentials bag, for me personally planes make me feel super gross and dirty so deodorant and hand sanitiser is super important. I also put in lip balm, tissues, spare hair ties and bobby pins etc.
6. Comfy pants
I think we can all agree on this one. There is nothing worse than having to wear an uncomfortable pair of jeans or shorts on an airplane. That is why I ALWAYS bring comfy sweatpants or leggings on a plane trip with me. Basically I would die without my sweatpants on planes.
7. Earphones/Headphones
Sometimes the airline provide these for you, but personally I always bring my own because sometimes the ones provided are dodgy and useless in blocking out sound. As long as I'm not getting up to go to the bathroom or listening to an announcement, I've got my earphones in and listening to music trying to drown out the loud noises.
8. Socks
For some reason, airplanes always try to freeze their passengers to death and my feet always get so cold. And that is why I bring socks. Usually I will actually bring like 3 pairs because I love socks so much but these are so important because if my feet are cold, I'm not happy.
9. My phone and charger
My phone is pretty dam important, it holds all my music, games, camera and everything pretty much. And if my phone dies, I die so I always bring a charger with me on planes, usually they have a USB port which can charge most phones!

LEMON BARS
Hey kiddos, so today I tried out this recipe I found in The Bakers Kitchen cookbook and they were so so yummy, will defiantly be trying them again. If you fancy sweet, citrusy things, you will absolutely fall in love with this recipe, like myself hehe :)
INGRIDIENTS - Crust
2 cups (250, 8oz) plain flour
1/2 cup (110g, 4oz) caster sugar
Pinch of salt
225g (7.5 oz) salted or unsalted butter, softened
INGRIDIENTS - Filling
1 cup (220g, 8oz) caster sugar
1/4 cup (30g, 1oz) plain flour
4 eggs
4 lemons, juiced and zested
METHOD
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) and line a deep sided baking tin with greaseproof paper, cutting corners to fit.
2. (This part gets messy) Stir together flour, sugar, and salt. Add butter to the mixture and using your fingertips, grind the butter into the mixture until it resembles loose crumbs. Press mixture into prepared tin and bake for 20 minutes or until goldenaround the edges.
3. Using any grater, zest the yellow layer of the skin of the 4 lemons and put it into a small bowl. Now, juice the 4 lemons and drain the seeds and pulp. Mix caster sugar and flour together in a large bowl. Add eggs and whisk to combine. Add the lemon mixture and whisk further until fully combined. Your mixture should be quite runny, almost like water. Pour over the crust which should have been fully cooled and bake for a further 20 minutes.
4. Allow to cool in the fridge for 2 hours or more until set, then sift icing sugar over the top before cutting into squares.
Enjoy!

*CACAO*
There's a reason why chocolate makes you happy. The cacoa content stimulates a surge of endorphins which released into the bloodstream make all kinds of good feelings.
Cacao also contains magnesium, which is a muscle relaxtant causing further feel-good-ness.

With all that good feeling, it's almost possible to forget about the flavanols that are taking a trip to your bloodstream too. Flavanol is a naturally occuring antioxidant, important to maintaing a healthy body, and raw caco is chock full of them. Now you can enjoy your 'chocolate pudding' knowing your getting all the goodness into your body :)
Hey kiddos, since christmas was almost a week ago I thought what better to do than show you some of my favourite gifts I received! Of course not trying to brag, I am so so appreciative of everything I got and am so grateful to have a family who support me.
My biggest present was a ticket to America with my cousins family which is incredible and I am so blessed and happy to be able to go on such an amazing trip. Along with that I got some cute, funky stuff that I thought I would show you!
My biggest present (literally) was a GIANT blow-up swan pool toy which I actually think was one of my favourite presents since it is the summer holidays and they are trending pretty big at the moment. Perfect for a pool day, and the most important thing, perfect for photos hehe :)
White blow-up swan - Sunnylife, $99
To go along with the 'summer/pool theme', I received a super cute round towel and an aqua blue billabong beach bag
Bag - Billabong, $30
Since I recently moved into my new room, I got some new decor (let me know if you would like a room tour..?) My favourite thing was a candle which looked like a mini tree trunk and totally matched my style! I also got some plants, fairy lights and marble patterned journal.
Along with the room decor, I got some mandala earnings and a super cute purse. The dream catcher was from my brother, who actually made it, but you find ones similar at stores such as Swish, City Beach Australia and Etsy.
Candle - Manchester outlet, $35
Plant - Kmart
Fairy lights, Kmart, $5
Journal - Kmart, $10
Earings - Kmart, $4
Wallet - Seed
The next thing I received was so needed, two bath bombs from lush. Bath bombs are just so pretty and amazing and I love them, but I never actually go and buy them. So I was super happy when I got two really nice ones, the Intergalactic bath bomb and the Twilight bath bomb. I've already used the Intergalactic one which is so fricken pretty, a swirl of pink and purple and blue and a ton of glitter, and the best part is that is smells like mint and vanilla.
But defiantly one of my favourite gifts heheh :)
And the last thing I will show you are some vouchers and movie tickets, these are all the presents from your relative's who don't know what to get you so you end up with THREE I-tunes gift cards hahah. Sportsgirl is one of my favourite stores so I love the gift card, and movie tickets always come in handy especially since it is the holidays!
I hope you enjoyed me showing you a few of my favourite christmas gifts, make sure you suscribe!

#OOTD
#OOTD
Hey kiddos, so I decided to kick off this blog with an old fashioned, outfit of the day. This outfit is inspired by a bohemian summer and features a white playsuit, a khaki belt, a round brimmed hat and sunglasses. When you put all the pieces together, it becomes an adorable hipster outfit perfect for a warm summer's day. Not only is it comfortable and light, but is super duper cute and perfect for photos.
The playsuit is the main piece of the outfit and can be styled many different ways.
Features include:
Thin cotton material so it isn't hot or heavy on a hot day
Off the shoulder
Long, bellbottom sleeves
Super cute detailing and cutouts
I decided to add belt to dress it up a bit more, a hat and sunnies. I think by adding a hat, it gave the outfit a more chill vibe which I absolutely LOVE. Sunglasses make any outfit a hundred times cuter, so I just had to add those in. Shoe ideas are pretty much any sandals (tan ones would be extra cute).
Hope you enjoyed my first post!

Playsuit - Suprè, $45
Sunglasses - H&M, $12.99

Hello everyone!
Welcome to my blog! I'm barely halfway there in terms of customising it and designing to make it my own, but we will get there. My name is Charli and I am a young girl from Australia. My goal is to create a blog that reflects me and my personality and provides unique content that people can use as inspiration and entertainment. I've always wanted to create something that I can share my passion and ideas for designing with other people, and here it finally is! I plan to mainly focus my blog on lifestyle which could range from room decor and fashion, to travel and creative ideas.
So if you are into that kind of thing, stick around to see some funky stuff :)

Thats all I can really tell you for now, but hopefully I can stick to it and create something that everyone can enjoy :)
Stay wild! Xo - Charli
